After starring opposite Keanu Reeves in the Wachowski brothers 1999 smash hit film, THE MATRIX for Warner Bros., Carrie-Anne Moss has become one of the most sought-after actresses in Hollywood. Following THE MATRIX, Carrie-Anne appeared opposite Burt Reynolds and Richard Dreyfuss in the Disney mobster comedy THE CREW. Moss was then featured with Val Kilmer in RED PLANET for producer Mark Canton, and soon after co-starred with Juliette Binoche, Johnny Depp and Dame Judy Dench in Miramax’s Oscar-nominated film CHOCOLAT for director Lasse Hallstrom. Next she starred with Guy Pearce in the critically acclaimed independent thriller MEMENTO which earned Moss an Independent Spirit Award for her performance. Moss reprised her role as ‘Trinity’ in THE MATRIX: RELOADED and THE MATRIX: REVOLUTIONS, once again teaming with Keanu Reeves and Lawrence Fishburne. She then joined Aaron Eckhart and Sir Ben Kingsley in the Cruise/Wagner produced SUSPECT ZERO, helmed by Eliase Merhige. Moss will next appear alongside Ralph Fiennes, Rita Wilson and Glenn Close in the ensemble independent feature film THE CHUMSCRUBBER releasing in the summer of 2005 and opposite Alec Baldwin, Luke Wilson and Nikki Reed in Nick Guthe’s MINI’S FIRST TIME. |
